Dr. Taye Wolde-Semayat has been released!

A special thanks to all who attended the dinner party
on April 23, 2002, to honor
Ethiopian prisoner of conscience
Dr. Taye Wolde-Semayat.
Dr. Taye Wolde-SemayatWe celebrated the birthday of Dr. Taye, a teacher and graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia,
who has been in prison in Ethiopia since 1996. He is a
special focus focus case for the U.S. Midwest region.
We ate good food, signed appeals to the Ethiopian
government on Dr. Taye's behalf, and we all signed a birthday card to send directly to him with our best wishes.
